Are Queenslanders Australia’s stupidest driver?

I think so I hear some of you say. People from other states are thinking he’ll yes and overseas visitors might even be thinking that Queenslanders are the worlds stupidest drivers?

I mean seriously, turning without indicating? A motorcycle Turning right but before doing that it needs to go into the left lane and act like a Mick Doohan and take the corner really fast, forgetting that my cR is in the left lane beside it!!!! Driving with one foot on the accelerator and one on the brake….it’s an automatic you numb nut you are meant to drive it with one foot not both!!!! Slowing down on a main road so you can see how much that house is worth…do I need to go on?

My pet peeve, driving on the motorway in the right lane and doing 90 klms and hour!!!!!! FFS who died and made ou the highway patrol person? Even the cops haven stopped me doing 5-10 over the limit as longs I am not acting like an idiot and being a danger so why on earth does a fool in a hatch back think he has the right to make me drive below the speed limit?

Why can’t QLD infact Australia bring in variable sped limits like the UK? Maybe cuz Qlders drivers might take that as a hint to drive as fast as they can.

Blood pressure gone through the roof just typing this so rant over…have a good weekend all…

Happy driving :)

Comment on NZ Law Society President’s statement

The President of the New Zealand Law Society Mr. Jonathan Temms, issued a statement saying Fiji is a totalitarian regime and lawlessness is prevalent and further saying that there were three unexplained deaths of New Zealand citizens in the tourist belt in Fiji recently. Can Jonathan further explain whether he had enquired from the police in Fiji how and why they died??

I say to Jonathan, “you are misinformed”. Do you know the very people i.e. the members of the now disbanded Fiji Law Society are/ were corrupt to the extent that they were fleecing the ignorant members of the community in Fiji. There were so many cases that were brought to the attention of the Fiji Law Society from members of the public and 99% were dismissed in support of the lawyers- cheating, non-performance even after collecting all the fees, you name the crime and lawyers committed these –yet no one lawyer would take a civil case against another lawyer. They are true to the idiom-“Lawyers are licensed to tell lies and mislead” even inside the courts.
There was a case of a very known lawyer in the western side of Fiji, a member of the former Fiji Law Society easily identifiable as he wears dark glasses day and night and who was deregistered in Queensland for fraud- he moved back to Fiji from where he escaped after squandering trust funds- got registration in Fiji and who had multiple reports against him with the then Fiji Law Society yet nothing happened to him.
It is understood he is being investigated now by the present regime.
Jonathan if New Zealand is such a law abiding country then why is New Zealand sheltering a very prominent lawyer who escaped Fiji’s jurisdiction where he was fined for unethical behaviour as a legal practitioner and is now a fugitive being sheltered by New Zealand-no doubt he will soon be practising law in New Zealand under registration provided by the Jonathan’s New Zealand Law Society as well allowing another military personnel who is also a fugitive into New Zealand when geneuine rugby players with military links are denied entry for the Rugby World Cup- joke!!!
If Jonathan’s Law Society is so ethical why has it not deregistered those New Zealand lawyers working for the illegal regime in Fiji. –You are a joke Jonathan.
Can Jonathan quantify how many Fiji citizens have died in New Zealand while visiting or studying there or even living in New Zealand. A recent case of causing death by setting alive on fire of a woman in a car on the main highway from Auckland to Hamilton near Huntly- is this a case of a law lawfulness of lawlessness.??
You are joke again Jonathan.

Gift from the people of India to the people of Fiji which made it’s way to Mr Chaudary’s personal account

The Chaudary case is up before the Courts in Fiji. Both the parties are fighting a case of tax evasion and money laundering. But has everybody including the Reserve Bank of Fiji forgotten that there is an offence against the Exchange Control Act of Fiji.

If Chaudary claims that money was gifted to him by the Indians and channeled into his accounts in Australia through the Indian Government did he ever seek the approval of the Reserve Bank of Fiji to hold these funds in foreign currency in Australia.?

Come on Chaudary, you were the Minister of Finance, self proclaimed expert in finance-how could you have forgotten that simple act. We doubt Reserve Bank would have given the approval to hold that large amount of money abroad anyway unless you pulled ranks which you are likely to have done.

There is definitely a violation of the exchange Control Act.

Every man and his dog knows that money raised abroad by Chaudary was meant for the people who suffered during the 2000 coup.

Chaudary you pocketed the money by getting bogus letters from your cronies in India and distributed that money amongst your family members especially you daughter by giving her $50,000.00.

Fiji accuses John Key of hypocrisy | Stuff.co.nz

Fiji accuses John Key of hypocrisy | Stuff.co.nz.

Mr Keys, how stupid are you? You exclude Fiji from the Pacific Island Forum meeting (which Fiji founded) but you would like it to attend free trade talks? Is there anyone out there that has a valid reason as to why it is deemed acceptable for Fiji to attend the free trade talks but not the Pacific Island Forum meeting?

Has it got something to do with the fact that Fiji is one of the largest and wealthiest of the real pacific island countries (Australia and NZ should just be considered to be big brother or better yet big bullies!!!

Fiji’s size and buying power means that it would be the ideal market place for dumping Australian and New Zealand products. Given Aust and NZ are not able to compete with cheap imports into their own country, these two countries figure that they might as well dump their products into smaller pacific island  countries.

Have the bullies not noticed who Fiji has been forced to befriend once it was allienated by Australia and New Zealand. These new friends are countries like China, Indonesia and India. Products from these countries could land in Fiji cheaper then products from Aust and NZ so why would Fiji be interested in a free trade agreement that involves Aust and NZ.

Foreign tradies challenging locals

Foreign tradies challenging locals.

All right all, am I the only one that feels a little ripped off? Due to the increasing demand for tradespeople, the local tradies feel they should charge us more. The mining boom has sucked many of the city based tradies leaving a shortage of tradies and therefore driving up prices.

So the solution it appears is foreign tradies who as it turns out are not only cheaper but more efficient and better then the locals. What does this say about the local tradies? Over paid, under skilled, whinging tradies?

Why don’t the tradies just suck it up, increase their skill set and become a little more efficient. They could start by turning up on time and take less breaks.

Pacific forum ‘pointless without Fiji’

Pacific forum ‘pointless without Fiji’.

I know its been almost a week since I last posted so I thought it appropriate that I post something that is a little controversial.

When it comes to developing the pacific island nations, it should be a priority to figure out a way forward for Fiji’s situation. Instead Australia and New Zealand have their own hidden agendas of dumping their products into pacific island nations by trade deals.

When it comes to Australia, the priority is supposedly China, US etc, so why on earth does it call itself a Pacfic Island nation. Other then location Australia does not understand the plight of the pacific island countries. It has don’t nothing but criticise Fiji. Granted Fiji isn’t doing itself any favours, I mean Frank Bananarama is holding the country in a very odd spot and not very cooperative, however forums such as the Pacific Island Forum which was founded by Fiji should be a forum to include Fiji and show Fiji that its neighbours want to work together to find a solution.

The whole world knows that inclusiveness is the way forward for everything. Exclusion does not work, so removing Fiji from the PIF is counter-productive.

Observations relating to my journey back from Mumbai that deserve a mention (in no particular order) back in Sept 2009

I had this note on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=158436495907) and thought I would share it with everyone. It made me laugh (excuse the grammatical and spelling errors)

1. From Mumbai to Singapore a crew member came up to me and welcomed me aboard as a QF Club member AND offered me a beer well before the bar opened….I was impressed…this did not happen from the singapore to Brisbane leg…not impressed!!!
2. An old man is assisted to his seat and he feels the need to advise the flight attendants that the tray table is a little squeeky and needs to be oiled!!!!
3. How is appropriate for a really large flight attendant to waddle up and down the isle during the flight and nidge every person sitting on an isle seat….I mean seriously…I can understand that its equal opportunity and all….wouldnt we have more room for luggage if some of the larger flight attendants were trained to work as ground crew!!!!
4. Since when is it a privilage to fly with an airline that a flight attendant feels the urge to not smile…I mean seriously…it is your first leg of the day….farking smile you grumpy bitch!!!!!
5. What is it with parents who feel that ever other passenger should have the misfortune to experience the pain they go through everyday at home…I mean seriously…do I give a fuck about how loud your child can be….shut hium the fuck up so I can get som farkiung rest…….
6. Generosity of friends on your last few days in Mumbai….no names need be mentioned…they know who they are, Falcon, Chuck!!!
7. How funny is it to see an uncle and aunty (who dont know each other, discussing how their bags got mixed up…until you realise the old farkers are holding up the rest of the plane disembarking…
8. Having a coughing fit mid-flight…….so what if I look like a porker…..NO I DONT HAVE THE SWINE FLU stop looking at me!!!!

Will Julia Gillard finally succumb to people pressure and call an early election? Or will she ignore the Australian public? Why is it that our Prime Minister succumbs to Bob Brown and changes her policy to appease him, however she is not able to listen to the Australian public?

Why is it that our government say one thing during elections and turn out to do something totally different once they are elected?

What are peoples thoughts on this? Are Indians capable of changing? The movie stars that support anti-corruption fall silent when someone asks the government to investigate foreign bank accounts holding money which belong to the very same movie stars.

I read somewhere on Facebook that people were bribing police officers just so that they can go and support Anna Hazare. Isn’t that being hypocritical?
